Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Credential Validation in Charlotte, NC to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, manage badges, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service, using computer or tablet systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control, badge handling, and alarm systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points at a logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, recording visitor and contractor information, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and personnel activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, operational areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry.
