Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for an Access Reception role in Sparks, NV. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide professional customer service to drivers and visitors while maintaining security.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Provide clear directions to facilitate orderly movement of vehicles and visitors.
