Job summary

Allied Universal’s Security Officer Visitor Access Management role in Marion, OH, part-time, offers a customer-focused position managing access points, verifying credentials, and issuing badges. Responsibilities include monitoring entries, responding to incidents, patrolling areas, and ensuring adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate facility contacts.
• Assist with controlling entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials at manufacturing and industrial locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
