Job summary

Allied Universal in Omaha, NE is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to manage badge operations and access control at a logistics location. You will deliver customer service to drivers, employees, and visitors while enforcing site procedures and maintaining secure entry points.

The role requires alertness, reliable teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Prior badge or access-control experience is preferred, with a background in security or customer-facing roles beneficial.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles and personnel, follow screening procedures, report unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
