Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Control in Hazleton, PA to serve patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. As an Access Control Officer, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service while remaining visible to deter security incidents. Position Type: Part Time.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour. Schedule includes Daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday, with opportunities to explore other shifts

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check will be conducted in line with federal, state, and local laws.
Candidates will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors per site procedures.
Monitor and control access to healthcare facility entrances and restricted areas; verify credentials.
Respond to incidents calmly and document activities as required.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access records while protecting confidentiality.
Conduct regular patrols of entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
