Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check to comply with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
