Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Access Control Security Officer in Indianola, MS. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors and deliveries while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position offers flexible day-time to night-time shifts, compensation at $14.00 per hour, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, community‑minded team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry/exit points, verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor access.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records and issue/retrieve access credentials.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns, notifying site contacts and leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
