Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Wilkesboro, NC to support badge issuance and access control at a food and beverage production location. You will verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain access logs while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires at least 2 years in security, comfort with computers or tablets, and a willingness to work a weekend schedule with a competitive hourly pay rate of $18.25.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while enforcing access control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain access logs.
• Direct drivers and vendors to appropriate areas while following site rules.
• Respond calmly to access control incidents, alarms, and emergencies and escalate as needed.
