Job summary

Allied Universal in Vance, AL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Access Control Operator to manage entry points, verify badges, and maintain a visible security presence at an automotive location.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access-control systems and badges is preferred.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors per access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Issue and maintain visitor credentials, contractor passes, keys, and access devices.
• Respond calmly to access-control incidents and alarms; notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct patrols of entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
