Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Guard for a Santa Fe Springs, CA location. You will verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role involves protecting entry points, documenting security-related actions, and collaborating with site contacts to maintain a secure facility.

Qualifications

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Control access at distribution facility entry points by verifying credentials and logging visitors.
Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity following site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and escalate when needed.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
