Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Driver in Detroit, MI to provide dependable, flexible coverage with fixed shifts and optional additional shifts through our platform. The role emphasizes access control, visitor management, and safety across site operations.

The position offers part-time hours with a base schedule and opportunities to earn more by picking up extra shifts, while building toward potential full-time opportunities within our nationwide security

Qualifications

1+ year of law enforcement OR 2+ years security supervision OR 3+ years security experience.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background investigation and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and guests by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
Monitor entry points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery access.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and key-control records and direct guests to appropriate offices and spaces.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and notify relevant personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols to identify unauthorized access and report security concerns.
