Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Seadrift, TX. This is a part-time role with a driving component and access-control responsibilities at a chemical/petrochemical location.

You will verify credentials, monitor entry points, and maintain logs while providing courteous customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors. The position requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Experience with access control and badges preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor and control entry/exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access logs.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and contractors entering the site according to procedures and access restrictions.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations; escalate as needed to site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
