Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Access Control Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Build a flexible schedule and contribute to a safe, secure environment at a logistics and distribution site.

You will verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide excellent customer service while patrolling the facility. Minimum requirements include 2 years of security experience, a valid driver’s license for driving

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and delivery documentation, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
• Screen inbound and outbound traffic, including delivery vehicles and personnel, in accordance with site procedures to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter; adapt to varying locations.
