Job summary

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license, experience in access control or security, willingness to pass background checks and drug screening, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include a valid driver’s license per policy.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by enforcing security policies and access-control protocols.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain access logs at the technology/media location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular/patrols of entry points and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain orderly flow of employees, contractors, and visitors while following site procedures.
