Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain access logs, and communicate entry requirements professionally.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and access points to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate to supervision and site representatives.
