The teacher will develop engaging lessons, collaborate with staff and families, and provide personalized academic and social-emotional support in a structured, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI).
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with district curriculum and differentiate for student needs.
• Plan instructional activities and utilize materials, technology, and strategies suitable for diverse learners.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student growth and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Coordinate with colleagues to set instructional goals and share best practices.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers as assigned.
