SUNY Sullivan is seeking a part-time Professional Tutor to provide one-on-one and small-group academic support to current students in the One Stop Tutoring Center. You will collaborate with faculty and staff to help students approach diverse subjects and achieve academic success.

Qualifications include a college background with bachelor's preferred, strong subject knowledge, and ability to work with a diverse student population; Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and reinforce class material through one-on-one or group tutoring.

• Mentor Peer Tutors and refer students to services such as academic advising and counseling.
• Collaborate with faculty for assignment clarification and student guidance.
• Participate in tutorial training, staff meetings, and professional development.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere and workplace.
