Based in Lexington, KY, tutors provide drop-in support to students in 100–200 level math, science, and business courses, helping with concepts, assignments, and exam prep.

SI Leaders plan weekly study sessions, integrate content review with effective learning strategies, and guide students to become independent learners.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• The Study Hub Peer Tutor position requires successful completion of course(s) with a B or better.

Responsibilities

• The Study Hub Peer Tutors provide drop-in academic support for undergraduates in many 100 & 200 level math, science, and business courses.
• Peer Tutors assist small groups of students in understanding concepts, completing assignments, and preparing for exams.
• SI Leaders plan and facilitate weekly active learning study sessions for SI supported courses.
• SI Leaders do not lecture but provide tools to help students process course material independently.
