Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis is seeking a part-time Academic Support Advocate for Students with Disabilities funded by Project MOST.

The advocate will provide notetaking, scribing, and exam reading support, assist with LEAD activities, manage a caseload, and travel to all campuses as needed. Up to 25 hours per week; in-person role with some virtual hours at department head's discretion.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Must have dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with notetaking and scribing for classes.
• Read exams and assist with LEAD activities.
• Maintain assigned caseload and document progress.
• Travel to multiple campuses as needed.
