Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Advises students in assigned department/discipline and tracks progress.
• Reviews Academic Advising Report and creates My Educational Plan (MEP).
• Advises on course selection and referrals to non-credit programs; includes prerequisites and career advising.
• Collects and processes data about students to perform job functions.
• Collaborates with department staff to identify early interventions.
• Refers students to counselors and external organizations when needed.
• Assists Directors/Managers in planning and developing academic support events.
• Develops department objectives and strategies.
• Keeps regular meetings with students and documents progress.
• Monitors processes for accuracy and policy compliance.
