Job summary

Goodwill Legacy Group is seeking an Instructional Interventionist (tutor) to support Excel Center students on the southwest side of Indianapolis. You will tailor instruction to individuals or small groups and monitor progress under leadership supervision.

Experience in tutoring and a growth mindset are valued. This role involves collaboration with staff and families, reporting outcomes, and assisting with attendance and outreach as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree and Credential Requirements - NONE!
• Tutoring expertise with ability to explain concepts to high school–age students.
• Academic mindset that all students can succeed.
• Communication required to articulate ideas clearly.
• Teamwork in a supportive learning environment.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Technical knowledge of G Suite, MS Office, and learning platforms.
• Monitoring and reporting student progress and data.

Responsibilities

• Partners with teachers, administration, and families to identify best practices for delivering high-quality instruction that meets standards.
• Implements and utilizes research-based interventions focusing on individual needs.
• Participates in meetings to discuss student placement and progress.
• Maintains and communicates student performance documentation to drive goals.
• Provides diagnostic assessments for students as needed.
• Supports attendance tracking and outreach activities.
