Job summary

Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is seeking a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapist) to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in home and school settings. Guided by a BCBA, you will support communication, behavior management, and daily living skills while tracking progress with measurable data.

This role offers opportunities to work with experienced BCBAs, receive supervision, and pursue RBT certification. Flexible part-time schedules include afternoons, evenings, and some weekends, with ongoing

Qualifications

• Education in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active RBT certification preferred (training provided).
• Experience working with children (autism/developmental needs preferred).
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability.
• Compassionate and adaptable under different situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Build rapport and engage students in structured, goal-focused activities.
• Implement ABA strategies (prompting, modeling, reinforcement, redirection, DTT).
• Collect accurate session data and maintain progress notes.
• Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Follow BCBA guidance and feedback.
