Job summary

Strides ABA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home or daycare-based ABA therapy for children with developmental disabilities in New York State. You will work under a BCBA, implementing individualized behavior plans, collecting data, and using positive reinforcement to improve outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and the clinical team, maintaining professional standards and advocating for each child’s needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABA principles; willingness to learn through trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA.
• Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care.
• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client.
• Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients and their families.
