Job summary

Strides ABA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home or daycare-based ABA therapy for children with developmental disabilities in New York State. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA, implement individualized plans, and collect data to track progress.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with families and clinical staff, and adherence to HIPAA and child welfare regulations.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping children and making a difference.
• Must be at least 18 years old and willing to complete RBT training.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation for community and in-home services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA.
• Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care.
• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client.
• Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients and their families.
