Job summary

Heartland ABA in Newton, IA seeks a Behavioral Support & Life Skills Specialist (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes and community settings. You will implement skill-building and care plans under supervision.

This part-time role offers paid training, flexibility, and opportunities to earn referral bonuses while developing your clinical and client relations skills.

No experience? Training provided. RBT certification required before working.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and make a difference for children with autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
