Job summary

Heartland ABA in Newton, IA is seeking a part-time Behavioral Support & Life Skills Specialist (RBT) to provide direct ABA services and support children with autism. You will join a collaborative clinical team and implement skill-building plans in clients' homes and community settings.

You will train and grow within a supportive environment, recording data and engaging families to promote positive outcomes, with flexible scheduling and dedicated professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• RBT certification is required before working.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients to support independence and positive behavior.
• Work as part of a clinical team to implement skill-building and care plans.
• Accurately record session data using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment and maintain family connections.
