Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking a part-time Child Interventionist to support children with autism in developing communication, social, and self-care skills.

Role involves implementing ABA-based plans under a BCBA, observing progress, and recording data in our system while collaborating with families and the treatment team. Evening hours align with after-school care, with opportunities for training and growth toward RBT/BCBA tracks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Passion for working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to pass a background check.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Ongoing learning and growth encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Works as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data entries in the online system.
• Participates in ongoing training to increase skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
