Butterfly Effects in Tehachapi, CA is seeking a part-time Child Interventionist to support children with autism through ABA-based plans. You will work 3pm-7pm, 9-15 hours weekly, with opportunities for growth and RBT certification support.

The team emphasizes a supportive environment and collaborative family partnership. The role involves implementing plans under a BCBA, recording progress, managing behaviors, and helping clients acquire life skills with professional communication to families

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a company background check.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents and team members.
• Participates in treatment team and completes daily paperwork accurately.
• Engages in ongoing training to improve skills.
• Maintains client confidentiality and follows BE procedures.
