Job summary

The Behavior Lab is hiring an ABA Behavior Technician for part-time, in-person positions focused on in-home and community-based settings in California. You will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy, guide communication and daily living skills, and support behavior change under clinical supervision.

No prior ABA experience is required as paid training is provided; the role emphasizes play-based learning, data collection, and collaboration with families to achieve individualized goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College coursework in psychology, education, child development, or related field is a plus.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in home, clinic, school, or community settings.
• Make learning engaging through play-based activities.
• Support children in reaching individualized goals and celebrating progress.
• Collect data and document skill development and behaviors.
• Collaborate with families and team members for consistency and success.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet each child's needs.
• Bring patience, positivity, creativity, and energy to sessions.
