Job summary

BK Behavior in Kansas is seeking compassionate individuals to join our ABA team as part-time para-professionals. Provide one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes or community settings after school hours, with comprehensive training provided.

Work with a clinical team, record data, support families, and help children with Autism develop independence. No prior ABA experience required; a 6-month commitment is preferred and opportunities for advancement exist in a growing field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and a passion for helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisor(s) to enhance treatment effectiveness.
