Job summary

Placer County Office of Education in Roseville, CA is seeking a part-time Behavior Support Assistant. You will gather and chart data on student behavior and model ABA-based intervention strategies to support BSP and BIP implementation for students with disabilities.

Under supervision of designated managers and the County Superintendent, you will assist staff in instructing and supporting students, perform general classroom tasks, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Proof of High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of current Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Certificate (obtain within 6 months if not held).
• Proof of CPR/First Aid Certification (obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Pursuant to Ed. Code 45330: 60 sem. units, an associate's degree or higher, or passing a local assessment.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and charts data related to student behavior and models ABA intervention strategies.
• Assists classroom staff and instructional support staff with BSP and BIP implementation.
• Provides support to teach students with communicative or physical disabilities.
• Performs general classroom assistance duties.
