JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Extension seeks part-time kitchen staff to provide food service at 4-H camp locations during camp week. Responsibilities include planning menus, ordering supplies, cooking, meal prep, cleaning, and serving.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong human relations skills, especially with youth and adults
• Promptness in meal preparation and serving
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to learn and perform assigned tasks
• Ability to carry equipment and supplies (with or without accommodations)

Employment requires successful background checks and the following clearances:

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Criminal Background Check

• 4-H Camp Shehaqua, Hickory Run State Park, White Haven, PA - Luzerne County | July 6-12, 2025
• CSC 4-H Camp Lavigne, Benton, PA - Columbia County | June 16-20, 2025
