A leading grocery store in Winston-Salem is seeking dedicated associates to enhance customer satisfaction through excellent service and teamwork. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop. Responsibilities include processing, packaging, stocking products according to grocery standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a willingness to participate in and complete required training are essential. The ability to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales is also required.
A high school diploma or GED is required, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information to customers, vendors, and associates who speak only English.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Completion of the company's training programs, including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge.
The physical requirements include standing, walking, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must regularly lift/move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6-72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
The work environment may involve exposure to wet, hot, or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals. Noise levels are usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations are provided as needed.
