Primary Responsibilities

Take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This involves product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations, and teamwork to create an inviting shopping environment. Responsibilities include processing, packaging, stocking products according to standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

Personal Skills

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence in English. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations with English-speaking customers, vendors, and associates.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations involving American money and weight measurements.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates and Licenses

Completion of company's training programs including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and smell. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must regularly lift/move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close, color, and depth perception.
