Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is looking for a 2nd Assistant Manager - Part Time in St. Robert, MO. This entry-level, part-time management role will sell shoes and lead the sales team on duty, with opportunities for growth within a company that values internal promotion.

You will greet customers, guide their shopping, ring up sales, stock the floor, keep the store neat, and train others in these duties while leading the team for the best customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
• Willing to teach others how to sell and learn how to be a people manager.
• Willing to open/close the store, knowing there may be times you are alone in the store.
• Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Can kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet our customers and guide them through their shopping experience.
• Sell Shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales in computer, take cash/run credit cards.
• Help re-stock the sales floor.
• Keep things neat and clean in the store.
• Teach others how to do all the things above.
• Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.
