Job summary

U.S. Lumber in Hebron, OH is seeking a 1st Shift Part-Time Material Handler to support warehouse operations. Starting pay rate is $18/hour, with responsibilities including forklift operation, order pulling, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of warehouse experience, and basic math skills. Lumber experience and forklift certification are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load/unload, move, stage, pull orders and transport material.
• Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse area; ensure correct location of products.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and other staff to complete workload.
• Provide accurate service to customers with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and trace issues.
• Read tickets and product codes; read a tape measure; pull daily orders.

U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a 1st Shift Part-Time Material Handler to join our VALUES based organization in Hebron, OH.

Starting Pay Rate ($18/hour)

Inthis role you will focus on:

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Safely operate forklifts in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material. Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
• Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
• Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
• Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products.
• Must be able to read a tape measure. Accurately pull daily orders.

Required credentials:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
