Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Freezer Selector (PART TIME) at our Imperial distribution center. You’ll be on your feet for long periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a freezer environment, with starting pay at $20.90/hour and opportunities for raises based on production.

No experience required—training is provided. You must be 18+, able to work holidays/weekends/overtime, and read/write in English.

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Stand on feet for long shifts and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Work in a freezer environment as part of the distribution center team.
• Assist with order picking and speed/efficiency to maximize productivity.

1st Shift Warehouse Freezer Selector PART TIME

Distribution Center Address: 225 Solar Dr., Imperial, PA

Pay: Starting at $20.90/hour

• Plus earn two pay raises in your first year
• Earn more per hour for speed and efficiency
• additional $.80 per for Freezer Zone

Work Schedule

Sunday - Thursday.

Sunday 6:30am until 2:30pm.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:30am until 11:30am.

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. You’ll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you’ll be asked to work in our freezer, but there’s no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. Selecting is hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn. On average, our selectors earn 13.36% above their base hourly rate, plus overtime. • We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
