Job summary

San Juan Unified School District’s Mira Loma HS is seeking an Instructional Assistant II for a 7-hour day, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM. The position is permanent and part-time with a salary range of $19.51–$24.47 per hour plus a 5% hard-to-staff stipend.

The IA II supports students in Resource/LD/Communicatively Handicapped settings, runs small groups, and assists the teacher in General Education and Special Day Class environments. Pre-qualify with required tests or transcripts.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with mild/moderate needs (Resource/LD/Communicatively Handicapped).
• Willingness to obtain California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency Test or CBEST required for IA posting.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in large groups.
• Support teacher needs in Special Day Class or General Education settings.
• Assist with classroom preparations and student supervision.
