Job summary

San Juan Unified is seeking an Instructional Assistant II for Twin Lakes School. This 6-hour, part-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–2:30 PM, with a 206-day schedule and benefits included. Salary ranges per IA II and includes a 5% hard-to-staff stipend.

The position emphasizes supporting students in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs and assisting the teacher's needs. A California driver license within 30 days may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience relevant to instructional assistant duties in school settings.
• Support for students in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Willingness to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in large group settings.
• Support teachers with instructional needs and classroom management.
• Assist with different program calendars and daily routines as assigned.
