Parsons Scholars was founded in 1997 and provides NYC, financially eligible high school students with a 2.5 year art and design scholarship. We are seeking course assistants to support Parsons Scholars’ Unfathomable Futures and Space and Materiality courses. Courses will take place on Saturdays, beginning August 29, 2026 to December 12, 2026. These course assistants will carry on to support Parsons Scholars’ Drawing and Imaging, Integrative Studio I, and Integrative Seminar I courses in spring 2026 from January 23, 2027 to May 8, 2027. Students applying for this role should also apply to the Parsons Scholars Student Assistant Specialist role for a total estimated 10 hours per week.
On-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work on-campus during regularly scheduled work hours due to the nature of the work being that which is not feasible, or not in the best interest of the organization, to be performed remotely.
Hourly Rate: $25.13

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between SENS-UAW, Local 7902 and the University.
Parsons Scholars Course Assistants support teaching and learning outcomes through non-instructional activities for Parsons Scholars FY courses: Space & Materiality, Unfathomable Futures, Integrative Studio I, Integrative Studio II, and Drawing & Imaging.
