State of South Carolina is seeking a Parole/Pardon Investigations Supervisor to provide first-line supervision of a team of investigators in the Low State area. This on-site role requires directing staff, ensuring quality investigations, and coordinating with the Director of Investigations and Examinations.

Office location TBD; travel minimal. The ideal candidate has leadership, recruitment, and training skills plus probation/parole experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 15 sem hours in social/behavioral sciences and probation/parole experience.
• Substitutions allowed: Associate's + 2 years LE or High school diploma + 4 years LE.
• Certification by Law Enforcement Training Council may be preferred.

Aufgaben

• Under general supervision, provides first-line supervision to a team of Parole/Pardon Investigators; provides direction, guidance and coaching to staff.
• Assists with the recruitment, interviewing of prospective Parole/Pardon Investigators and promotion opportunities when appropriate.
• Participates in training new Parole/Pardon Investigators.
• Submits reports to the Director of Investigations and Examinations.
• Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating operating procedures within the section.
• Participates in special law enforcement deployments as ordered by the Department during emergencies or disasters.
