Job summary

Parkshore Madison Park, a Transforming Age community in Seattle, is seeking a Custodian to keep common areas neat and safe. You will follow safety guidelines, prepare sites, and respond to resident requests, working with friendly teams in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic understanding of English to take direction and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Completion of a background check; drug screening and TB test may be required per state/local guidelines.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Clean the common areas and other assigned areas.
• Follow SDS, safety procedures and related regulations; maintain a safe work site.
• Prepare and organize materials and equipment; set up the work site before tasks begin.
• Report resident requests and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Note any issues (grounds, building, other) and escalate with the relevant department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
