Job summary

Parkshore Madison Park in Seattle is hiring a cook to prepare daily meals for residents, under the direction of the lead cook. You will assemble stations, follow dietary restrictions, and uphold high food-safety standards in a community-focused kitchen.

The role requires at least 18 years old with 1–2 years of cooking experience; weekend flexibility and CPR/first aid may be required. We offer competitive pay and a supportive team environment dedicated to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1–2 years experience as cook/sous chef/grill cook preferred.
• Ability to prepare high quality food for residents.
• Flexibility to work weekends/Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
• CPR and first aid training may be required by state/local guidelines.
• Background check, drug screen, fingerprinting or other pre-employment tasks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned stations for shift.
• Under supervision of lead cook/sous chef, prepare components of entrees and items per dietary restrictions.
• Maintain kitchen food safety and sanitary handling per regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
