The City of Aurora is looking for a passionate Parks Steward dedicated to maintaining the community’s parks. You will be responsible for the stewardship of public lands and operate various tools and machinery. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and at least six months of manual labor experience.

The position offers a salary of $18.00 per hour, medical benefits, paid time off, along with opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 6 months manual labor experience required.
• Current Driver's License with good driving record is necessary.
• Ability to obtain Colorado Basic Pesticide Training Certificate within 2 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding stewardship of public lands.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on facilities and properties.
• Plant and care for trees and vegetation.
