Job summary

Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District is seeking an experienced District Project Manager to lead planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out of parks, recreation, trails, and community amenities in Round Rock, TX. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and District staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, reports, and contract documents.
• Knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, and procurement processes.
• Strong coordination and communication with consultants, staff, and Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee park, recreation, landscape, and amenity capital projects through all phases from planning to close-out.
• Coordinate with landscape architects, engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors to meet objectives and standards.
• Review plans, specs, contracts, pay apps, and schedules; monitor progress and quality; recommend actions.
• Assist with contract preparation, negotiation, and administration; advise on selections.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including planners, residents, and committees to ensure alignment.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, permits, safety standards, and ADA requirements.
• Prepare procurement materials (RFPs, RFQs, bids) and monitor expenditures and budgets.
• Conduct final inspections and ensure smooth turnover to operations.
