Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field is required.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible management experience in municipal parks and recreation.
• Preferred: pool and park maintenance experience and ability to lead park improvements and recreation programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee five parks and all park facilities.
• Direct recreation programs and special events for the City.
• Manage budgets, reporting, purchasing, buildings, grounds, and construction activities.
• Provide oversight of the aquatic facility and lifeguard staff as applicable.
• Coordinate with the City Manager, Boards and public; work weekends and some evenings.
