Job summary

SALARY: Begins at $37,776/Year with complete benefits package

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Sampson County Parks and Recreation seeks a reliable, self-motivated employee to join our maintenance team. This position works closely with the maintenance manager to maintain local parks, athletic fields and equipment. Essential functions include: planning, inspecting, landscaping, electrical, carpentry, painting, mechanical, plumbing, grounds improvement projects, pest control and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Selected candidate will operate trucks, tractors, mowers, field machines and other mechanical equipment as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent, NC driver's license, and relative experience in maintenance, landscaping and construction trade are minimum requirements.
