Fort Bend County is seeking a Parks Operator II to maintain and service county parks, operate heavy equipment, and support event transportation. Responsibilities include mowing, weed control, signs and fencing repair, vehicle maintenance, and concrete work.

The role involves driving buses for events and participating in emergency management activities during local disasters as directed by county managers, with full-time and part-time opportunities and a strong benefits package.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED 2 years job related experience.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions; general working knowledge of and ability to operate required equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with others.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

SALARY RANGE

$16.34 Min-$20.43-Hourly
