Marlborough District Council is seeking two Parks Officers to manage parks, open spaces and community facilities, delivering contracts and capital projects across Marlborough’s parks and recreation spaces. You will oversee maintenance contracts and provide technical guidance to contractors and the community.

Ideal candidates have experience in asset management, budgeting and stakeholder engagement, with strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach to ensure safe, well-maintained

Qualifications

• Experience in managing parks/open spaces contracts.
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
• Ability to provide technical advice to contractors and community.
• Proven collaboration with stakeholders and user groups.

Responsabilités

• Managing parks, open space and community facility maintenance contracts
• Leading capital improvement projects from planning through to delivery
• Monitoring budgets and ensuring value-for-money outcomes
• Providing technical advice to Council, contractors and the wider community
