The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking a field operations worker to perform maintenance of park grounds, landscaping, athletic fields and facilities, under supervision. The role involves operating a variety of tools, equipment and vehicles in the care and repair of City parks, beaches, centers and buildings.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with some experience in parks maintenance, and must obtain First Aid, CPR and AED within 3 months.
Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the maintenance of park grounds, landscaping, athletic fields and/or facilities, depending on area of assignment. Operates a variety of tools, equipment, and vehicles in the operation, repair, and maintenance of City parks, beaches, athletic fields and/or facilities, centers, and buildings. Work is performed under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
